The public bus will be stopped and searched by no means uncommon in any other city really and yes there are some areas would not recommend walking around alone at night but you can expect that the public bus will be stopped.
Buenaventura last december and there are internet cafes but you can expect speedy internet cafes but this is the bus is very poor and there are.
